A great remote opportunity for a RAMS Safety Engineer role with a Robust company
In this role, you will incorporate RAMS management throughout the entire lifecycle of product development, from a use case definition, RAMS planning over requirement clarification, design, software development, verification, validation, field test, pilot projects, product qualification, safety case to independent safety assessment.Â
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and ExperienceÂ
• At least 3 years of experience as a software developer for complex and safety-critical Railroad, Nuclear Plant, Aircraft, Automotive or similar systemsÂ
• Experience with System and Software Development ProcessesÂ
• Knowledge of fail-safe, vital and redundant design principlesÂ
• Minimum of 2 years on the job knowledge regardingÂ
• Quality assurance (processes & reviews)Â
• Verification & Validation (software)Â
• Ability to focus on the task at hand despite concurrent assignmentsÂ
• Knowledge of safety-critical coding standards (e.g., MISRA)Â
• Collaboration and management skillsÂ
